ABOUT YGT
Yilki Guludun Tagai (YGT) Law & Biocultural Knowledge was established with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, Country and Culture at the heart. We use traditional Bama and Islander knowledge alongside western knowledge to teach cultural integrity, responsibility, cultural intelligence decolonisation and cultural safety, as well as legal, consulting, research and evaluation advice. Our work in the Music Sector
YGT Law and Biocultural Knowledge have been working alongside venues, festivals and record labels to improve cultural integrity and responsibility in the music and entertainment industry. To date, the Fortitude Valley Music Hall & The Triffid venues have made the commitment to Jimaldamal (good fire) by embarking on a journey to improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment, procurement and genuine community engagement.
